With over 200,000 artworks and 100 artists, the Massimo and Sonia Cirulli Archive narrates the art and history of twentieth-century Italy through an original, interdisciplinary perspective.
Thanks to its cross-disciplinary character, the Archive can be browsed by artist, decade, keyword, topic, media. This approach preserves the rich heterogeneity of the collection, which is composed by paintings, sculptures, drawings, sketches, collages, and more.
For ease of consultation, we suggest ten broad areas that offer a narrative path and an iconographic interpretation (food, architecture, customs and society, industry, fashion and design, propaganda, sport, tourism and recreation, tv, movie music and theater, speed and flight).
The simple keyword search allows users to explore the Archive independently.
